Terms of Service

Last updated: August 20, 2026

These terms govern your use of copaceticelectric.com and describe the basic terms on which Copacetic Electric provides electrical services in San Diego County. By using this website or hiring us, you agree to what follows.

About us

Copacetic Electric is an owner-operated electrical contracting business run by Ramon Casas, serving San Diego County, including La Jolla, Chula Vista, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, Escondido, Coronado, and El Cajon.

Using this website

You may use this site to learn about our services and to get in touch. You may not use it to break the law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or to interfere with its normal operation.

The text, photographs, logos, and design on this site belong to Copacetic Electric and may not be copied or reused for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Information on this site is not a quote

Descriptions of services, timelines, and any pricing information on this site are general and for information only. They are not an offer or a binding quote. A binding price for your job comes only from a written or texted quote given after we understand the scope of the work.

Scheduling, quotes, and payment

We provide a quote before starting work. If the scope changes once work is underway, for example because conditions behind a wall differ from what was visible, we will tell you before continuing and agree on the change with you. Payment terms are set out in your quote or invoice. Invoices are due on the terms stated on them.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please tell us as far ahead as you reasonably can. If materials have already been specially ordered for your job, you may be responsible for their cost.

Workmanship and warranty

We are licensed and insured, and we perform work to applicable electrical code. We stand behind our workmanship. Manufacturer warranties on parts and fixtures are provided by the manufacturer, not by us, and are subject to their own terms. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, alteration by others, or pre-existing conditions in the property that we did not install.

Permits and inspections

Certain work requires a permit and an inspection by the local authority. Where a permit is required, we will tell you, and permit and inspection fees may be passed through to you unless the quote states otherwise.

Photos of completed work

We may photograph or record completed work for our portfolio and social media. We do not publish anything that identifies you or your address without your permission. Tell us if you would prefer that we not photograph your job at all, and we will not.

Emergency and safety

Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional assessment of an electrical hazard. If you smell burning, see sparks or smoke, or believe there is an immediate danger, call 911 and your utility first.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our liability arising out of the website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of San Diego County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
